Well, we are going to try an experiment with using Pivot to publsh the Deathcon site. We will see how it goes... One notable change is that we have re-enabled comments. You have to answer a question to post a comment, because we implemented a comment quiz question to block comment spam bots from posting spam. Minor inconvenience to make the site interactive again.

homelan has links to activisions's financial quarterly conference call and 2003 release calendar and it looks like we won't see doom III till 2004. it's penciled in for an early 2004 release at least but id Software has the final say on the actual release date. quake 4 has also been pushed into 2005. for the full story, check out homelan. Ran into Santiago (Ghost652) in IRC, and he mentioned that he was still playing Q2. The comment brought back fond memories, so I decided to fire up the 'ole Q2 OSP server. Default config is Instagib... Sweet!

01 March 03 - 17:32UT2003 Excessive?

I have been trying to get the Excessive mod for UT2003 running, but it always seems to crash the server when I switch to it in the mutator list... Oh well, if it was anything like Q3's version, it might have been a bit much.
Along those lines, does any one have any requests for tweaks to the current server set up?

Hell of a good break from work. I slept a lot, and even updated my site. I am struggling with converting the nameserver ns1.disclaimer.com to ns1.pirk.com... Too many records that point to the old name. You would think there would be a way to do this, but apparently, no one created a method to do this without going to all the individual domains and modifying thire records... hmmm... I see a new service here... :-)
