activision has released the 1.4 patch for wwii first person shooter call of duty. the patch includes one new multi-player map and punk buster anti-cheat software as well as a bunch of fixes for some bugs. you can get the patch over on 3d gamers. i had to download it from australia because all the local servers are busy. the deathcon and doh! network servers should be up and running shortly if there are no issues with the stand alone server. i noticed with the windows client install i just did that some files were put in a folder with double slashes before the folder name and there was upper and lower case main folders. that may work on windows but linux will not be having any sloppy coding like that. thanks to shack news for the heads up on this release as i can't seem to find it on any of the other gaming news sites yet.
