There is an article on CNN about a lawsuit filed over GTA3. Apparently the suit claims that Sony, Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games, and Wal-Mart are responsible for the actions of a 16 and 14 year old who went out on a shooting spree killing a 45 year old and maiming a 19 year old... of course the suit makes no mention of the kids' parents, the gun company, the bullet manufacturer, the doctor who brought them into this world, the shoe company that enabled them to walk to the highway, or any kind of sanity...

13 October 03 - 10:10Savage Demo Released
S2 Games has released a demo for their game Savage. This was really one of the games that stood out for me at E3 this year. It combines team FPS action with the resource management of RTS. Your team has a "commander" who is responsible for setting up resources a la Warcraft, making weapons and armour upgrades available to the rest of your team who play in an FPS interface against the opposing team. This game really looks like the best of both worlds, those who like the strategy of RTS can be the commander, while those who want their FPS fix are out kicking butt. to get rid of the movies that play every time you start up battlefield 1942, go into your battlefield 1942 folder and rename or remove the movies folder. then when you start up battlefield, you will go right to theuser interface screen wihout watching any movies.

infinity ward's call of duty is officially on store shelves! this could be the military game that kicks all the other war games out there right now to the curb. just check out these glorious screenshots courtesy of 3dgamers.com. you can hide behind dead cows! how cool is that?! well, it's not too cool but still the game looks awesome. if you're still not convinced you want to hand over the benjamins for this game, you can play two demo for free. they're like episodes 1 and 2 and you can get them on 3dgamers or any other file download site.
